Overview
IsaacNotion ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our iOS and macOS application.
Data We Access
To provide sync functionality, IsaacNotion requires access to:
- Notion Account: We use OAuth to securely connect to your Notion workspace. We only access databases you explicitly share with the integration.
- Apple Reminders: We access your Reminders lists to sync tasks bidirectionally with Notion.
Data Storage
IsaacNotion is designed with privacy in mind:
- Local Storage Only: Your tasks, sync mappings, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
- Secure Token Storage: Authentication tokens are stored in the iOS/macOS Keychain, Apple's secure credential storage system.
- No Cloud Storage: We do not store your data on any external servers. All sync operations happen directly between your device, Notion, and Apple Reminders.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect or store your task content
- We do not collect analytics or usage data
- We do not use any third-party tracking services
- We do not sell or share any data with third parties
OAuth Token Exchange
We operate a minimal server (Cloudflare Worker) solely for Notion OAuth token exchange. This is required because Notion's OAuth flow requires a server-side component. This server:
- Only processes OAuth authentication requests
- Does not store any tokens or user data
- Does not log or retain any information
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time by:
- Removing your Notion account from the app
- Deleting the app from your device
- Revoking access in your Notion integration settings
Children's Privacy
IsaacNotion is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
